Kim Schoel
Kim is a multi-disciplinary artist originally trained as a painter. She employs various expressive forms, ranging from paintings and three-dimensional still lifes to handcrafted jewelry, bells, and small bronze sculptures.
Born in Baghdad and raised in Germany, Kim came to the United States to study art at Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina. After completing her graduate studies at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, she became an active member of the Greater Cleveland arts community. She is a co-founder of the Dead Horse Gallery in Lakewood, Ohio, and has exhibited her work extensively in both the United States and Europe.
