Greg Sanford is a lifelong creative with over 40 years of experience exploring a wide range of artistic mediums. From sketch work and tattoo design to metal sculpture, woodworking, painting, and pyrography, his artistic journey has been anything but ordinary. In 2023, Greg officially launched Grizzly’s Workshop, where he now focuses on laser-based creations that fuse craftsmanship with imagination.

His current passion lies in crafting Monster Boxes—intricate, handcrafted works inspired by the iconic Mimic from Dungeons & Dragons. Each piece blends dark fantasy with functional design, making them perfect for tabletop gamers and collectors alike. Alongside these, Greg also designs a wide variety of TTRPG accessories and other unique laser-cut projects that spark his interest.

Greg’s journey into laser crafting began when he was looking for wooden boxes to complement his pyrography work. Frustrated by the lack of quality and affordability, he decided to make his own—leading to the purchase of his first laser machine and the creation of Grizzly’s Workshop.

His work often explores gothic and dark fantasy themes, but he also enjoys creating whimsical and playful designs that reflect his wide-ranging creativity. While he hasn’t exhibited formally or received awards yet, his passion and craftsmanship shine through in every piece he makes.
